There are ten races over the course of the season from April until mid September with a mixture of road races and cross country with six individual events ranging in distance from 8km up to 21km as well as four relay races ranging from 3.8km up to 6km.
All in all it is an extremely enjoyable way to stay fit within a positive and supportive Athletics Nunawading team environment that welcomes people of all standards and abilities. Come and have a run!
Mark has introduced a new calculation for Trophies: Points are determined by calculating the Age-Performance percentage for each athlete which are then rounded to the nearest whole number. In the event of a tie, they will be recalculated to two decimal places. Ages are determined in line with the AV criteria of age at 01st April for seniors and 31st December for juniors. The worst(!) result will be excluded from the total for each athlete. So in other words, the best 9 out of 10 for seniors and the best 7 out of 8 for juniors.
As always, if you know someone interested in joining in the fun then please keep them informed. We are just one or two runners short of filling teams in Womens Open, U18 and Mens U20 so if you want a run, give us a try and be part of a team. Of course, other runners are welcome to join the fun.
